The Okinawa Development Finance Corporation Central Branch (Branch Manager: Katsuhisa Watanabe) and Okinawa Kaiho Bank Akamichi Branch (Branch Manager: Yusuke Asato) joined efforts to cofinance Inicia LLC for the purchase of equipment at the time of its establishment.
Inicia is a maintenance and repair contractor for fuel facilities, with its head office in Kitanakagusuku, which mainly performs work at U.S. military bases in Japan from major U.S. engineering companies. Mr. Montero, Inicia's representative, has accumulated work experience at domestic companies after completing his doctoral course at the Graduate School of Engineering, Department of Environmental Systems, Hokkaido University. Besides, he holds a certification known as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)*, an American certification very rare in Japan.
Inicia's expertise, special qualifications, high language skills, and the proper maintenance and management of the fuel facilities inside U.S. military bases will lead to the environmental conservation inside and outside the base. This is highly appreciated by us.
This loan is the first one to utilize a cofinancing service created by the Okinawa Development Finance Corporation and the Okinawa Kaiho Bank to contribute to the development of the regional economy.
The Okinawa Development Finance Corporation will continue to contribute to the development of business operators and the revitalization of the local economy in the Central region of Okinawa in cooperation with private financial institutions.
* CIH is a certification issued by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene. Its purpose is to sample and analyze harmful substances existing in the working environment, and to reduce its risk through engineering measures and minimize its adverse effects on human health.
